October 5th, 2001 | Author:

DMX fans in the U.S. have something great to look forward to this month, as their favorite rapper goes out on tour to play a series of free, outdoor concerts.

The Hoodstock promo tour will start in Washington, D.C., on October 12 and see DMX play 19free, outdoor shows to promote his new album The Great Depression, which features the single We Right Here. The concerts will be co-sponsored by Def Jam and by local radio stations, and the times and locations will not be announced until the day of the shows.

The tour will not roll through Canada, but will be hitting Detroit on October 20.
