MTV and Puma Set to Release Yo! MTV Raps Sneaker
Sneaker heads and Hip-Hop heads may be happy about this. Puma and MTV have joined forces to create a concoction of a classic shoe and a classic show.
The Puma Clydes are coming up on their 25th anniversary and in order to celebrate the event, they have enlisted MTV to help create Forever Fresh, a limited edition sneaker. According to Hypebeast, only 225 pairs will be made, so coming up on these may be difficult.
The shoe comes along with the Yo! MTV Raps logo on the tongue and a big Yo! on the back.
In related sneaker news, Lupe Fiasco will be performing live in California next week. The rapper is scheduled to appear on stage for Sneaker Pimps. The all-ages event will be held July 28 and will feature DJs Mishaps, Ric-Hard, and Q-Bert as well. It will be held at the Mayer Building in Hollywood. According to the site, it is billed as The world's largest sneaker and street based art show.
