Who would have thought Jay-Z would inspire a musical? According to Confessions of a Thug's writer and director Daron Fordham, that is exactly what occurred. According to reports, Fordham used Jay-Z's street and business savvy features to create a new Hip-Hop influenced character who matches College education and intelligence with a criminal past. No word from Jay-Z as of yet, but Fordham claims he would love to work with Jigga. Rappers are present in the film, though. Expect to see rappers Lady of Rage and J.T. Money in Confessions. The film will be unveiled for the viewing public at The Urbanworld Vibe Film Festival which will be held June 21 through 25 in New York.
