C-Murder Headed Back to Jail???
C-Murder may be heading back to the big house once more, if Jefferson Parish prosecutors have their way. The 35-year-old rapper is only three months into a home incarceration program, but prosecutors have filed a court order stating that Corey C-Murder Miller has violated the terms of his house arrest and should be put back behind bars.
The accusations come after Miller was spotted on video surveillance at a fast-food restaurant and spending time with his girlfriend, both of which were not authorized by his court order.
The New Orleans Times Picayune newspaper reports that Millers first violation occurred on May 4, when he made a stop at a Smoothie King restaurant. Employees at the Clearview Parkway branch confirmed his visit.
Several more house arrest rules were violated, including visiting his fiance Sabrina Green without advance court authorization and being out of range from his electronic monitoring device that police use to track his whereabouts. He has also fallen behind on the $50-per-week home incarceration fee which adds to his mounting violations.
As a condition of home incarceration, the defendant was given specific rules, which prohibited him from leaving his residence or going to any location other than those sanctioned by the court, stated the motion.
Under house arrest rules, prisoners can only be visited by family members, his children and their mother, his attorneys and a priest. They must also have court approval to leave the house and must submit to random drug tests tests which Miller has passed.
The brother of Master P, Corey Miller is awaiting retrial on the murder of 16-year-old Steve Thomas, in an incident which occurred in January 2002 at a club in Harvey.
Miller is also facing two charges of attempted second-degree murder pending in Baton Rouge.
