I believe the expression is, “live by the gun, die by the gun.” Any one who has followed the career of Philly rapper Beanie Sigel knows he is no stranger to the gun. But while he has usually been the one doing the shooting, it was not so this morning at 8 am in South Philadelphia. Reports say that the Roc-A-Fella emcee was shot twice in the arm during a robbery attempt. Apparently Sigel was boxed in by two vehicles containing 5 men. A bearded man got out and fired twice, hitting Beans with both in the arm. Beans got back into his car and drove himself to a nearby hospital to be treated for the non-critical wounds.
