Years after The Notorious B.I.G's death, and after plenty of stories, songs and allegations were made, the Los Angeles Police Department has decided to take a closer look at the unsolved case.
Big's family sued the city, but last year the case was declared a mistrial after it was found that the LAPD concealed evidence in the emcee's shooting.
The judge also ordered the city to pay the family more than one million dollars.
Last week, Assistant City Attorney Don Vincent announced that a new team of detectives would re-analyze the tragic shooting of one of Hip-Hop's most beloved emcees.
A retrial for Biggie's death should come later in the year.
