Mary J. Blige is giving young singers a piece of her mind. In an interview with MTV, Blige steps out of her diva persona and into the big sister role, stating that she gets nervous when she sees young female singers bear it all for the cameras. "I'll show my arms, even my abs, but nothing else. I'm watching MTV, all those g-strings and thongs and baby oil they've got going on. It's crazy and I'm nervous for the kids.. Blige, who is 35-years-old also says that shell try to be a role model for young women in the industry today.
Young Jeezy has broken his silence on his child support drama. Last year, Jeezys unnamed babys mother took him to court, requesting an increase in child support. It was reported that he was paying Tynesha Dykes slightly less than $200 back in 2001. On his latest mix tape with DJ Drama, Cant Ban the Snowman, J double E-Z-Y fires back at claims that hes not a good father. My son got everything in this world that I never had/the one thing you cant call me is a dead beat dad/when youre the one that shouldve been exposed/unfit mother, still playing with your nose/and I dont wanna tell my child that his moms aint shit/this aint about him, youre just a money hungry bitch, he spits on Im Back.
In other Jeezy related news, his partner in rhyme, Slick Pulla (whom Jeezy often name checks in his raps) was shot in Atlanta Saturday. The incident occurred after an argument with an intoxicated man, nobodysmiling.com reported yesterday. Pulla is currently in stable condition.
