Fat Joe Sounds Off on VMA Incident

Fat Joe says dis records and various other verbal jabs led to his G-Unit dis at the MTV VMA's

After dis records, and old school style school yard teasing at (and leading up to) the MTV Video Music Awards, Fat Joe snapped. In an MTV.com interview, he explained what led up to the now infamous G-Unit comment.

"I said what I said because there's only so much you can take," Joe told MTV.com. "This guy is jumping onstage and nobody said anything to him. He did 'Piggy Bank,' I made my record ['My 44'] and said I'm out of it. I'm done. Then you have Tony Yayo trying to dis me every chance he gets. 50 is making music videos about me. What am I supposed to do? I have to defend myself.
