Kanye Goes to bat for �White Girls�

Kanye West raised some eyebrows in Canada Monday after he stormed out of a radio interview. The reason: an edited song lyric.

Kanyes newest single, Gold Digger, the closing line states, And when he get on, hell leave your ass for a white girl. The lyric was too much for Torontos Flow 93.5 who edited out the word white.

(We can edit) anything that we think might be derogatory to any colour, race, creed, what have you, anything misogynistic, too, said Flows Program Director, Wayne Williams. Theres no wrong-and-right or black-and-white answer. We pay for the rights to play his music and so on and so forth, so we also have the right to edit what we think is necessary.

During an on air interview with Flow personality DJ Hollywood Rick Fagon, Kanye attempted to address the issue of the edited lyric. After becoming unhappy with the way the issue was addressed, West walked out of the interview.

Ironically, according to a www.Dose.ca website report, the next song played was Wests Gold Digger, complete with the white girl lyric intact.
