D’Angelo is Back???
D’Angelo was once the soul heartthrob. He coupled sultry lyrics with fascinating music to be a pioneer in the resurgence of soul music. After he filmed the erotic “How Does It Feel” he officially became the sexual object of every woman’s fantasy. But just as quick as he was thrust into the spotlight he fell off the map completely.
The last we saw of the man who conjured up Brown Sugar, he was overweight and looking more like ODB than D’Angelo. But once again, just as quickly as we right the musician off, rumor has it that he will join Common and J-Dilla on the sultry remix to Common’s hit single “Go!”
The rumors began surfacing a few weeks ago on Okayplayer.com where ?uestlove started hinting toward a remix for “They Say” featuring two well known artists. As the inquisitions began, word took form that Common would be doing a remix to “Go!” with the possible return of D’Angelo featuring production by J-Dilla. Websites have been sprouting the possible return and now reports say that this could very well be true. We’ll see what this will be like.
