When Eminem released Encore many may have missed the cryptic messages that lie within the music. Because it seems that Encore provided Eminem with one last hurrah before he reportedly bows out of rhyming.
According to the Detroit Free Press, sources close to Em have stated that Eminem is through making albums and will focus on producing. That also means that the Anger Management tour will be the last time the world captures a glimpse of Slim Shady rocking a mic.
Paul Rosenberg, Em’s manager, told the Press that the decision is not definite as of yet but stated that Encore was “certainly the cap on this part of his career."
If this is Eminem’s last stand, he will go out as the best selling hip-hop artist of all time. His four albums have sold over 25 million copies in the U.S.
He's also won nine Grammys to go along with Best Song Oscar for the 8 Mile track "Lose Yourself."
