Although rappers Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa are most known for their lyricism, both artists are reportedly taking on DJing gigs.
TMZ reports that both rappers will tap into their inner DJ if those booking them are willing to dish out thousands. According to the celebrity gossip site, Lil Wayne is demanding $60,000 per gig while Wiz Khalifa’s request is at $25,000 per gig.
In addition to paying up thousands, those booking either of the two rappers must also provide first class air travel, accommodations, and any other VIP treatment needed.

Wiz Khalifa, known by his DJ name DJ Daddy Kat, is scheduled to appear at Anaheim, California nightclub, Heat at the end of this month for a DJ set. Lil Wayne will appear at the same club next month, but according to Heat’s Facebook page, Weezy’s appearance “will be a full concert style performance” and not a DJ set.
In addition to Wiz Khalifa and Lil Wayne, other rappers and singers who have been tapped for guest DJ sets include Snoop Dogg, Q-Tip, and Solange Knowles.
