During a newly published interview with VladTV, Ghostface Killah recalled being kicked out of Barbados while recording Raekwon’s debut album, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx….

The Wu-Tang member says that while they were on the Caribbean island, they were continually subjected to prejudice and eventually kicked out. The two rappers subsequently decided to go to Miami to continue recording the LP.

“We went to Barbados, we got kicked out of Barbados,” Ghost says. “They was kind of like prejudice over there. They wanted us to leave. They didn’t want us to wear fatigues over there and all of this other shit. And it wasn’t just the white man that was prejudice over there it was like your own kind that was working for the white man. It was crazy over there. They told on us and we had to leave. But it was good though because we slid to Miami and that’s where we got most of our darts at right there. You know how it was in Miami in ’95, they still on Scarface shit.”
