For those in attendance at Waka Flocka Flame’s “The Turn Up Godz Tour” stop in Scottsdale, Arizona earlier this week, they witnessed a surprising turn of events midway through the Atlanta, Georgia rapper’s performance.

In video footage uploaded by DJ Whoo Kid, Waka can be seen breaking up a fight brewing between two men. He then encourages the two, who were once ready to fight, to hug one another.

“Make ‘em hug. Y’all two mothafuckas hug. Hug nigga, hug. Hug him, nigga…Hug him right now. That’s what the fuck I’m talkin’ about,” Waka said while attempting to calm down the situation.

Both men did hug it out and Waka was able to continue on with his set.

In addition to touring, the Southern wordsmith is preparing for the release of Flockaveli 2, which is slated to hit shelves later this year.

During an interview published in XXL magazine’s Spring 2015 issue, Waka spoke on what fans can expect on his upcoming album.

“Street shit. Straight up, no singles [on the album], straight just street shit. That’s all I love; I love the streets,” Waka Flocka Flame said. “I don’t know how to flex, I didn’t grow up ballin’ or wearing Jordans, so all I know is rowdy music. [With this] I just want to bring the rowdy shit back. Hip-hop ain’t fun; I want to put the fun back in it. It’s not bouncy no more. Hip-hop is very arrogant today.”
