Fresh off the release of their latest project last month, California-based duo Audio Push caught up with HipHopDX’s Ural Garrett recently and explained the meaning  behind their new mixtape title, The Good Vibe Tribe.

“If you listen to the body, top to bottom, it’s just opening up this lane,” Price says in a clip that debuted as a part of today’s DX Daily. “This movement that we’ve created and that we’re really passionate about. Which is, good spirits and good vibes.”

“We never really had a name to stamp on it,” Oktane adds. “But even when we was back two years just throwing parties we always just had the vibe.”

“People always would say about our parties and about being around us, [that] we just got good energy,” Price offers. “Good vibes. People wanna be around us. I feel like a lot of people are that. A lot of people are part of the Good Vibe Tribe and just don’t even know it. Now they have something to stamp [onto] their good vibes.”

As for what fans can expect from the mixtape, which was released on 4/20 and includes features from Vince Staples, Casey Veggies, Isaiah Rashad, and more, Oktane says they’ve finally put a sound to their good vibes.

“We finally made a soundtrack to it now,” he says. “We finally made the sound for it. This is what The Good Vibe Tribe sounds like.”
