Migos member Offset has been charged with battery and causing a riot in a penal institution after he was involved in a fight with another inmate at the Bulloch County Jail on Saturday (May 2), The Statesboro Herald reports.

Migos (Quavo, Offset, Takeoff) was arrested April 18 on Georgia Southern University’s campus. The trio was charged with possession of a schedule II narcotic, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and carrying a loaded firearm on school property.

Court documents show Quavo and Takeoff posted their $10,000 bail three-days-later, while Offset remained imprisoned due to his rap sheet.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Inv. Walter Deal said in reports that the fight occurred around 3 p.m. Saturday and that it was recorded by Jail surveillance video. The victim reportedly “had visible injury to the right side of the head,” Deal said.

Offset was originally on probation, but a judge allowed him early release in January. He is set to face a judge on Friday (May 8) for bond hearings.

Due to the aforementioned legal issues, Migos announced they would postpone their “Yung Rich Nation” tour until July.

The Superior Court Judge reportedly made his decision based on Offset’s extensive rap sheet and an incident that occurred last week where the Migos rapper attacked another inmate in the Bulloch County Jail.

According to the Statesboro Times, Offset “shouted profanities” at the Judge after being denied bond.
