Reebok Classic has teamed up with Finish Line for a new segment called “Studio Sessions.”
The first installment features Kendrick Lamar in the studio in which he recorded his latest album, To Pimp A Butterfly.
Within the visual, Finish Line ambassador Jacques Slade asks Kendrick when realized he wanted to rap.

“It was actually the first time I heard my voice,” Kendrick says. “It was that simple for me… I was just infatuated by how I can change my voice on this piece of equipment and it comes back over instrumentation and it makes music.”
K. Dot also mentions that his affinity for Reebok sneakers began in middle school.
