“18 Great Posse Cuts Reppin’ a Particular City” is a new list curated by XXL that highlights some of Hip Hop’s “best and biggest records that featured four or more rappers from their respective city or state on the same track.”

N.O.R.E., Marley Marl, A Tribe Called Quest and Trae The Truth are among some of the lead artists included on the list.

Puff Daddy’s New York City anthem “It’s All About The Benjamins,” off his 1997 debut studio album No Way Out, was featured on the list. The cut housed guest appearances from The Notorious B.I.G., The LOX and Lil’ Kim.

“We’re All In The Same Gang,” released in 1990, was a single by the West Coast Rap All-Stars. Featuring a collection of renowned West Coast Hip Hop artists, the song was intended to promote an anti-violence message. Produced by Dr. Dre, the cut featured rhymes from King Tee, Body and Soul, Def Jef, Tone-Loc, Above The Law, Ice-T, Dr. Dre, MC Ren, Eazy-E, J.J. Fad, Young MC, Digital Underground, MC Hammer and Oaktown’s 3.5.7.

Eminem’s “Detroit vs. Everybody” featured an all Detroit cast including Royce Da 5’9, Big Sean, Danny Brown, Dej Loaf and Trick Trick. The cut featured on Eminem and Shady Records’ Shady XV album released last November.
