Beginning in the late 1990s a Puff Daddy-directed production squad collectively known as The Hitmen provided the backdrop for songs from the likes of The Notorious B.I.G., The Lox, Mase, Faith Evans, and more.

Now, back in the studio to work on his first album since 2010’s Last Train To Paris, Puffy has apparently regrouped The Hitmen and has just announced a new member of the squad, Kanye West.

The Revolt TV founder and owner took to Instagram over the weekend and posted a short clip of an in-studio session and name-dropped Hitmen members Chucky Thompson, Mario Winans, Stevie J, Sean C, and LV. The end of the caption however brought the biggest news with Puffy writing, “the newest member of the hitman KANYE WEST.”
