Through his venture firm Casa Verde Capital, Snoop Dogg has reportedly invested in a marijuana delivery startup company called Eaze, according to Business Insider.

Described as an on-demand marijuana delivery company, Eaze operates by linking California’s medical marijuana patients with local dispensaries.

Keith McCarty, a former employee of Yammer, founded Eaze. The company has reportedly made 30,000 marijuana deliveries in the San Francisco Bay Area since its launch.

So far, Eaze has raised $10 million from various investors including DCM Ventures, 500 Startups and Fresh VC.

According to Quartz, Eaze plans to expand outside of the Bay Area to other parts of California and even other states.

“The plan is to be in every market as quickly as possible that allows for medical marijuana and even recreational use of marijuana,” founder Keith McCarty says.

Last October, Snoop Dogg weighed in on the topic of marijuana legalization during a conversation with Method Man, Redman and B-Real.

“If [President Barack Obama] were to [legalize marijuana] there would be more jobs, there would be more money, there would be less depression, there would be less homelessness if he was to do that,” Snoop Dogg said at the time.
