DJ Muggs signs with Epitaph

August 16th, 2001 | Author:

One of LA's most under-respected producers has just signed a new deal with Anti Records, which is part of the So-Cal punk label Epitaph.

The new deal will see Muggs drop an LP in 2002, which will be half rhyming and half soulful singing, all over Muggs beats of course. The producer is best known for being one third of the Cypress Hill trio, but has also produced for groups like Funkdoobiest and Psycho Realm.

There is no word on whether the new album will be released under the Soul Assassins moniker, like his previous solo ventures.
