During part one of his ā€œThe Road To #DeeplyRootedā€ web-series, Houston, Texas rapper Scarface spoke briefly on what fans cans expect from his upcoming album, which is currently titled Deeply Rooted. According to the Geto Boys lyricist, the album will focus on his life, both the good times and the bad times.

He also offered his insight into the rap game, stating that it remains the same, with the goal being to win and then ā€œget out the way.ā€

ā€œIt talks about my life,ā€ Scarface said while speaking on his album. ā€œIt talks about the good times, the bad times. The game the same. It donā€™t switch. The same rules apply in this game as it did in the other games that we played. You play that mothafucka, you win it, and then you get out the way.ā€

ā€œItā€™s called ā€˜American Justice,ā€™ā€ he said. ā€œYou got your Klansman. You got your gavel. You got your United States flag. You got your fists with the shackles on it. You got your chains. And then you got the poor, little black youngster hanging. And that my friends is American justice.ā€

Scarface first revealed his plans to release Deeply Rooted, last year. During an exclusive interview with HipHopDX last April, the rapper revealed that Deeply Rooted will likely be a surprise release.
