With his new album already receiving more critical acclaim than his previous two, Big Sean has apparently offered fans a chance to connect with him personally through one of the lyrics on the record. Late in the tracklist, on the album’s “Outro,” Sean offers up his own phone number to fans, channeling his best Mike Jones in the process.

Sean spoke with Hip Hop Wired about distributing the digits and being inspired to reconnect with fans on a personal level.

“A lot of people say man, ‘You changed’ and all sorts of crazy shit,” he told the site. “It’s hard to get in contact with you. I just sat up and said, ‘Let me make it easy.'”

“That’s my real number,” he added. “It’s for anybody who hears and wants to call me.”

While the number might be serviceable, Hip Hop Wired reports that its attached voicemail is maxed out.

HipHopDX gave Big Sean’s Dark Sky Paradisefour out of five stars with writer Eric Diep noting Sean’s progress over the last two albums. “While Detroit paid tribute to Sean’s hometown and had a respectable list of guest appearances, Dark Sky Paradise ventures into his troubling thoughts of maintaining fame and coping with loss,” he wrote.
