Donald Glover has made a name for himself in the Rap game under the name Childish Gambino. Now, however, Glover tells The Today Show it might be time to move on from that persona.

“I guess Childish Gambino is like a period in my art time,” the rapper and actor says. “I wanna have periods in my life. So I feel like Childish Gambino is a period that should come to a close. I like endings.”

He says that he loves music and wants to continue producing.
