Luke Serves up Chicken Soup
Urban Box Office has signed the former front man of 2 Live Crew to an exclusive deal with its newly formed hip-hop label, Insurgent Records. The first release, slated for the Fall of 2005 is Luke Campbell’s Soup for the Freaky Soul: The Sexploits of Uncle Luke. The four disc set includes two autobiographical discs, a compilation soundtrack and a CD/DVD of the infamous “Luke dancers”.
The compilation portion of the set includes tribute songs and covers of old Luke hits by artists Jacki-O, Petey Pablo, Pitbull, Trick Daddy and others.
