This past Sunday (February 8), it was announced that Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA is set to join the cast of Thomas Mignone’s new film based on the life of Latin porn star, Vanessa del Rio.
According to XXL, RZA’s addition was made in conjunction with Drea De Matteo who is perhaps best known for her role as Adriana La Cerva on HBO’s hit show, The Sopranos.
IMDB reports that Zulay Henao is already cast in to play the role of Vanessa del Rio while Mignone, in addition to directing, also wrote the script.

The publication also offers the following description of the biopic, which is set to take place in New York City:
“The film follows the wildly exhilarating life of the legendary adult film icon Vanessa del Rio, set against the backdrop of organized crime-controlled Times Square during the 70s & 80s.”
