Eminem will release a new album this year, according to Hip-Hop Vibe.

The alleged project bears the title Roots and is expected to include features by Dr. Dre and Xzibit.

Slim Shady has unloaded two albums in the past two years. The platinum selling The Marshall Mathers LP 2 and the greatest hits compilation Shady XV.

While not much is currently known about the project, Hip-Hop Vibe reports that the official announcement is expected to be made in early February, during the Grammy Awards events.

Shady has already won more than a dozen Grammys and he is currently nominated for three more.

It’s unclear whether this announcement will be made at the award show in-person or via social media, similar to the Shady XV promo.
