Detroit rapper/producer Kevlaar 7, real name Kevin Cross, has died from a blood disorder, according to AllHipHop.com. Along with his brother Bronze Nazareth, Cross was a member of the Hip Hop group, The Wisemen.
Described as “candid, controversial, and visual” in his biography, Cross has worked with a number of artists in the Hip Hop community including Killah Priest, Cappadonna, Sha Stimuli, Ras Kass, and Styles P. In 2009, the musician released his first solo project, Unbutton Your Holsters Vol. I.
Following news of Cross’ untimely death, a number of artists expressed their condolences via social media.
