An array of artwork bearing Chief Keef’s likeness is currently on display at the Seventh Letter Gallery in Fairfax, L.A. The most expensive piece is a painting of the teen-aged rapper masquerading as agent 007 (James Bond).
It’s worth $10,000.
The artist behind the painting, Bill da Butcher, met Keef during his stint in rehab.

After a recording engineer noticed Da Butcher’s work at a Newport Beach art show, he was enlisted to paint a portrait of Keef on a studio ceiling. Keef was impressed with the image and asked the high school art teacher to create even more for him.
Da Butcher has crafted nearly 30 pieces for Keef and now works out of Keef’s residence in the Los Angeles area.
VICE recently caught up with da Butcher at Keef’s first art show, where he reflected on his pairing with the Southside, Chicago-bred rapper.

“He said, ‘I want you to fill up my house,’”Da Butcher recalls, in regards to the rapper’s initial request.
Although Keef admits to VICE he’s always loved art, and he colors with Bill sometimes, he hasn’t exactly traded in his microphone for an paintbrush.
“He [Keef] doesn’t really have any of his own,” Da Butcher says, “but he’ll pick up Sharpies and draw on mine.”
