Erykah Badu, Tyler, The Creator, Tim Blake Nelson, and actor J.B. Smoove are among the entertainers who will be featured in a special episode of Adult Swim’s Black Dynamite, which will focus on police brutality.
According to Pitchfork.com, the one-hour episode will be titled “The Wizard of Watts” and will consist of a musical format.
“As a comedy writer, I feel it’s my job to make people laugh while using constructive social criticism to evoke thought and inspire dialogue,” Carl Jones, who served as director of “The Wizard of Watts” said, according to Pitchfork.com.

During the special episode, Black Dynamite will be transported to the Magical Land of Oz-Watts during a hallucination, which results from the character being hit in the head with a brick during a riot. While in the Magical Land of Oz-Watts, Black Dynamite is then called upon to defend the city from police.
“The Wizard of Watts” episode of Black Dynamite is scheduled to air January 10, 2015 at 10:30 PM EST.
