ODB Remix Contest
As the hip-hop community continues to mourn the loss of Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Damon Dash Music Group is giving many of his fans the rare opportunity to connect with his legacy. This opportunity is called “ODB Forever: The Remix Project.”
What this will do is give fans and aspiring producers a chance to get their music heard by downloading and putting their own spin on the track “Dirty Dirty” via the downloadable accapellas and upload new versions of the song for other fans to check out. But not only will the many fans of the late ODB get a chance to check out the new remixes, a panel of judges will be picking the best remix to appear as a b-side on an upcoming single release as well as be featured in an upcoming issue of Scratch Magazine.
The judges include RZA and Dame Dash. The song features Mark Ronson and a special guest appearance from lyricist, Rhymefest. You can find the song exclusively at www.dashmusicgroup.com. So all aspiring producers get those beat machines ready.
