Bizzy Bone spoke with VladTV outside of the recent “Ether” battle and reminisced on battling Jay Z back in the day.

“We was both in Atlantic City at a music festival, put a bet up for 30 bucks and I won,” Bizzy Bone says. “He gave me the money. He didn’t even rap.”

According to Bizzy Bone, he spit his bars first and Hov wasn’t ready for his fast rapping style. So Jay Z handed Bizzy Bone the money and walked away.

“Right now, he’s doing so muthafucking good that it’s something that you can always say, ‘Hey I did something real, real cool with one of y’all,’” Bizzy Bone says. “And this is my genre. I’m a industry nigga, so I can speak freely now.”

Bizzy Bone says that he started battling as a child and that all the ’90s rappers battled growing up.
