Over the weekend, 36-year-old rapper Memphis Bleek was married to girlfriend Ashley Coombs during a ceremony in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. According to TheYBF.com, among those present at the wedding were Jay Z, Beyonce, and Eddie Levert.
Memphis Bleek was one of a handful of artists signed to Roc-A-Fella Records, a label founded by Dame Dash, Kareem “Biggs” Burke, and Jay Z.
During an interview with Mikey T The Movie Star, which was published in April, Memphis Bleek spoke on his relationship with Jay Z. He described their relationship as being “straight from the bricks” and says it was formed outside of music.

“My relationship with Jay it has nothing to do with music,” Memphis Bleek said. “It’s nothing to do with Roc-A-Fella. It has nothing to do with Roc Nation. It has nothing to do with Def Jam. It has nothing to do with radio, video, nothing industry, man. It’s straight from the bricks, man. Straight from ‘Let me borrow some sugar. My mom said we ain’t got no syrup. I need syrup. My mom—We need some butter.’ This is from that. That’s it. Our work will always be. Like we don’t have to work and we work. You know what I’m saying? I see Hov and I speak to him whenever I need to. That’s how we move.”
