That’s likely the reaction Iggy Azalea fielded when reading a Huzlers story falsely portraying an interview where Iggy admits she’s a man. An excerpt of the story reads: “Iggy Azalea confessed the shocking news in an interview with an MTV reporter saying ‘I don’t mind if the whole world finds, I can’t hide it all my life.’ As a teenager however Iggy went on testosterone blockers and had her name changed and then, at age 18, underwent corrective surgery to get rid of her male genitalia. According to Iggy, all of this happened just a few years prior to beginning her music career.”
MTV has confirmed that no such interview took place, dismissing both the article’s credibility and the assertion that Iggy’s gender is anything but female. Iggy herself decided to participate in the conversation about her sex. She took to Twitter to poke fun at it and even the fictitious name she figuratively procured.

“Wait, so I’m just now reading that I was born a man and my name is Cody?” She said via the social media site. “*Cackling* why Cody tho? Lol.” She would follow, sarcastically questioning what her name should be as a male.
“I just don’t see myself as a Cody,” she said. “I’m more of a Liam, if had a penis. Liam Azalea.” Iggy Azalea received her Billboard Women in Music Award Friday night. An award she wouldn’t have been able to win as a man.
“Am I still gonna get my billboard women in music award tomorrow, now that I supposedly have a penis or nah?” she joked.

Iggy’s Mangate is just the latest ridiculous rumor the Australian rapper has addressed. Just a day earlier, Azalea replied to a Twitter user who claimed her friend Demi Lovato called a fan “fat” during a recent meet and greet. She also claimed Lovato said she “flicked my vagina” and later DMed the fan demanding she remove the story from the web. “i can’t lie “delete it fat” and “vagina flick” are now parts of my official vocab,” Iggy said jokingly on Twitter.
