Along with actor Seth Rogen, author Phil Klay, and a number of other entertainers, Kendrick Lamar will serve as one of the final guests on Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report.”

According to StereoGum.com, news of K-Dot’s appearance on the cable-news show was revealed via Twitter by New York Times reporter David Itzkof.

Beginning sometime next year, Stephen Colbert, host of “The Colbert Report” will take over CBS’ “Late Show With David Letterman.” Other Hip Hop artists who have appeared on Colbert’s show include Black Star, Nas, and Lupe Fiasco.

This week’s reveal of “The Colbert Report’s” final guests comes on the heels of another major announcement regarding Kendrick. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the Compton, California rapper had entered into a partnership with Reebok.

As part of his partnership with Reebok, Kendrick will release a short film and a capsule collection.

The TDE lyricist’s appearance on “The Colbert Report” will reportedly air on Tuesday, December 16.
