New Orleans, Louisiana rapper Turk recently offered his thoughts on fellow artist Lil Wayne’s possible fallout with Cash Money Records. During an interview with Vlad TV, Turk was asked if he believes the tweets Wayne sent last week about wanting off his label were in fact sent from the Young Money rapper.

The former Cash Money Records artist revealed that he believes all the tweets were sent from Wayne. He then added that he supports the rapper “one-thousand percent” in whatever decision he chooses to make.

After expressing his support for Weezy, Turk then credited the rapper for all he’s done for Cash Money.

“I think it was. I think that’s how he feel,” Turk said. “I had talked to a couple of people too as well. Sometimes man, people come to a conclusion in they life where enough is enough, I guess. I support Wayne one-thousand percent. I support anybody that want to do they own thing, be independent. Especially being the age that we are now. It shouldn’t be no problem if a person want to branch out if that’s what he want to do. I don’t think it should be no problem. We came in the game together. We put in a lot of work with Cash Money. Wayne has held Cash Money up. Even when we left. My hat goes off to him, man. He held it down. He put in his grind…Sometimes things come to an end. We’ll just have to see how it gon’ all play out.”

Later in the interview, Turk was asked if Cash Money could improve on the way they do business. He responded with yes and added that improvements at the label are long overdue.

The rapper concluded by stating that whatever choice Lil Wayne decides to make with his career, it will be “the right move.”

“Yeah, I think so,” he said when asked about improvements at Cash Money. “That been overdue. Me personally, I feel like if I do business with anybody I’mma be fare. If we all getting money it’s only right to be fair. You know what I’m saying? That’s just how I would handle my business. That’s just how I handle my business. If I say I’mma do something for anybody I deal with it’s done. I don’t have time to play no games. We have kids, man. I just believe in karma. That stuff come back to you, man…Wayne real smart. You got to remember, Wayne went to college…He wasn’t brought up like me and B.G. He got a pretty good head on his shoulder, man. And I know that he’ll make the right move. And whatever move that he making [he’s conscious of it].”

In a series of tweets sent earlier this month, Lil Wayne aired out his grievances with Cash Money.

“To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won’t and hasn’t been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it. This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation. I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy,” Wayne said in a handful of tweets sent on December 4.
