Cilvaringz: Skrillex Did Not Buy Wu-Tang Clan’s $5 Million Album

    Cilvaringz says The Wu – Once Upon A Time In Shaolin album has not been purchased by Skrillex, refuting a story published by Complex today (December 1).

    In the Complex story, a screen shot of Cilvaringz saying “yup” to a poster saying saying that “Skrillex bought the album. Confirmed.” was used.  

    “I was merely joking with forum members I’ve been talking to for years,” Cilvaringz says in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. “The album appears in Skrillex new video for the song ‘Fuck That.’ It hasn’t been sold to him.”

Although you own a painting which may be a master piece of some sort, the more people see it and like it, the more utility and enjoyment you get out of actually owning it especially a rare piece. To own music for yourself to hear has no value to anyone else until the other ears an get to hear the product. Makes it every way distinct from a piece of painting sitting on the wall in your home
