Migos have received a lot of press lately. The Atlanta trio recently dropped their latest project Rich Nigga Timeline and appeared on the cover of The Fader magazine.

Recently sitting down with HotNewHipHop, Offset, Takeoff and Quavo spoke on another reason why they’ve been in the news–recent comparisons they’ve fielded to The Beatles.

“I didn’t even know that we was doing similar stuff that they was doing,” Offset said. “If they was doing and we didn’t know about it, history repeats itself. You might be looking at the new young Beatles in the flesh, the urban Beatles. It’s just a blessing, we like it.”

The group also talked about their most recent project release and its meaning.

“We ain’t wanna do sequence, but we wanna stay rich and we wanna stay young, and we really ain’t never just told y’all where we came from and showed y’all where we started,” Offset said when asked about the mixtape. “We always just hit y’all with the swag and the trendsetting stuff, so this time, it’s Rich Nigga Timeline, showing you where we came from.”

Migos also said it was cool that people from other countries rocked with their music when describing their recent trip to The Bahamas. They also reacted to being on the cover of The Fader and meeting Jay Z for the first time.
