Lil Kim Guilty!
After a tedious trial that no one knew what the decision would be, jurors in a Manhattan court found Lil Kim guilty of perjury. She was found guilty of lying to a federal grand jury about the shooting outside of New Yorks Hot 97 radio station. She was acquitted of obstruction charges. Her personal assistant, Monique Dopwell, was pronounced guilty of obstruction, perjury and conspiracy.
When the verdict was read, many supporters of the femcee shed a few tears.
So what does this mean for Lil Kim? When sentencing happens in June, Kim can face up to 20 years in jail. But many legal insiders believe that she should receive less than five years and be hit with heavy fines.
