50 Cent explained his recent Instagram post that was motivated by Wiz Khalifa’s purple hair, in a video interview with Hollywood Life published yesterday (November 12).
“I reposted that picture because it was the funniest thing,” 50 Cent says in the video. “I almost started crying I was laughing so hard. They make choices. Artists will do things to stand out or for shock value. Prince didn’t even go that far with purple. You can always leave your hair the color and just decide to wear purple.”
50 Cent reposted an Instagram photo from Snoop Dogg, which compared Wiz Khalifa’s new purple braids to a small dog wearing a purple hat.

50 Cent was asked to address Justin Bieber’s love life. The “Confident” singer reportedly split with Selena Gomez and has been photographed with several other women.
“Be friends,” 50 Cent says. “Friendship is the strongest form of a relationship, and take your time… If you look at the top of the Fortune 500 companies, you’ll see they took their biggest losses in investment in friendship. They’ve been married. They’ve been divorced. They gave the money up.”

50 Cent, who describes himself as “fabulous” in his Starz show Power, previously dated comedian Chelsea Handler who posed semi-nude this week to poke fun at Kim Kardashian’s recent spread in Paper Magazine.
