The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation has announced that it will hold a mixtape fundraiser to help in raising funds for the foundation. According to a press release, money raised from the fundraiser will help “in the care and up-keep of its Georgia facility,” which is located in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

Among those directly involved in creating the mixtape are Kamil “Muszamil” Beale and producer Dame Grease. The two men will create a single in support of the late Tupac Shakur, which will feature various Hip Hop artists.

They will then offer the single for download for $0.99 on the 2Pac.com website. The single will also be accompanied by a free mixtape.

The press release states that “all funds” raised from the single will go directly to the foundation.

Founded in 1997, the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation was founded by Afeni Shakur and aims “to provide training and support for students who aspire to enhance their creative talents,” according to the foundation’s Facebook page.

Artists and producers who would like to take part in the project are asked to reach out to Muszamil through Twitter.
