Former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight and comedian/actor Katt Williams were arrested this week after the two were accused of stealing a photographer’s camera.

According to a press release from the Los Angeles County District Attorney, both Knight and Williams now face robbery charges.

A press release states that “the two men are suspected of stealing the camera of an independent on Sept. 5 outside a studio in Beverly Hills.”

As a result of the arrest, Williams could face seven years in custody while Knight faces 30 to life in state prison.

Bail is currently set at $75,000 for Williams and $1 million for Knight. Knight’s $1 million bail and possible prison time are likely due to a prior conviction.

The pair’s arrest comes weeks after Knight was shot several times during a party held for the MTV Video Music Awards.

Williams addressed the shooting while speaking with TMZ in August. The comedian explained why he feels the shooting wasn’t about Knight.

“Now if you’re an idiot you can believe this was about Suge Knight,” Williams said. “But Suge Knight has been accessible every day of his life for 20 years. We know who it was aimed at. We know whose life he saved. And we know why they won’t talk about it…If it was gang-related then why didn’t it happen thoroughly? You see there’s parts of this story that just don’t seem to make sense. You’re saying it was gang-related. So, that means somebody’s gang was shooting at somebody’s gang and somebody’s gang didn’t shoot back. That’s your story? That’s not really how gang stuff works, is it?”
