Murs says that the rappers who appeared as part of the MURS 316 Stage at the Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF) presented the genre in a positive light.

“I feel like we did a good job introducing Hip Hop into this madhouse,” Murs says during an exclusive interview with HipHopDX that premiered in the DX Daily today (September 22). “People have had a great time and people have had nothing but good things to say. All the rappers and deejays conducted themselves in appropriate manners. They had responsible fun and we had a great, great time.”

RiFF RAFF, N.O.R.E., Onyx, DJ Quik, Dizzy Wright and Bun B were among the artists who performed at the at the seventh-annual SSMF in Los Angeles Saturday (September 20) and yesterday (September 21).
