Green-Label.com has released “Twists of Fates that Changed Hip Hop History,” a list explaining what random events managed to impact Hip Hop history.
The list suggested Kanye West’s near-fatal car accident as having a major impact.
“In October 2002, Kanye West got in a major car accident which required that his jaw be wired shut,” the story says. “In 2005, he was receiving a Grammy nomination for ‘Through the Wire,’ a track he rapped while his mouth was still literally wired shut. The track earned Kanye the necessary traction for his debut album The College Dropout to become a major success. A near-fatal accident helped launch one of the biggest Hip Hop superstars of this era.”
