After landing three singles on Billboard magazine’s “Emerging Artists” chart in 2013, Troy Ave is taking his material on the road with his Money, Powderrr, Respect Tour. The BSB Records frontman launched the tour September 11, and his scheduled to be on the road through early October, including a stop at Los Globos in Los Angeles’ Silverlake neighborhood.

In a recent HipHopDX interview, Troy spoke on the importance of spreading his music to a wide base of fans.

“I don’t even need any label money,” Troy Ave said. “I’m straight. I want to do a group thing…a business partnership where they give me a million in marketing and promotion. I need to put my music in stores across the world, and I need the biggest promotion that’s ever been done in a decade for an artist in New York. I’m from the biggest city, so we need that. My music is like heroin. It’s one of the most addicting drugs. When someone hears it, they love it.”
