The back-and-forth between rapper 50 Cent and professional boxer Floyd Mayweather has continued throughout the week with Mayweather’s father now chiming in on the matter. In audio footage obtained by TMZ, Floyd Mayweather Sr. offered his thoughts on the feud between the two men during an interview with Fox Sports 670 Las Vegas.

According to Mayweather Sr., there wouldn’t be anything else to be said if Mayweather was to ever get his hands on 50 Cent. He also suggested that 50, who he referred to as “a player hater,” go up against his son.

“My son ain’t got no reason to look back about nothing,” Mayweather Sr. said. “He did his job. And he ain’t gotta worry about nobody like 50 Cent cause 50 Cent is a player hater…Let him go against Floyd. Then let’s see what we gotta talk about. Floyd will stop all that shit in the papers. It won’t be no more said when Floyd get a hold of his ass.”

Prior to speaking on a possible fight between Mayweather and 50 Cent, Mayweather Sr. revealed that his son was the one who cut his ties with 50 Cent. He also shared his belief that most musicians dropped out of high school, when asked his thoughts on 50’s video about Mayweather being unable to read.

“50 Cent seems like he got a problem since little Floyd left him,” he said. “It seems like he got a problem. Floyd [defriended] him. I’m just saying Floyd [defriended] him by not being his friend or whatever it was that made Floyd leave. He left. And Floyd had nothing else to say about it. That’s 50 Cent that keeps putting stuff all over—Here he is a world known singer and acting like a kid, man. 50 Cent can’t read his mothafuckin self…Pretty much all of ‘em that—singers and stuff. Pretty much all of them done dropped out of school.”

Most recently, 50 Cent spoke on Floyd Mayweather Sr. during an interview with Los Angeles radio station Power 106. And in regards to a possible brawl with Mayweather, 50 stated that the boxer “won’t kick my ass.”

“On the part of his pops [Floyd Mayweather Sr.], I’d always say, ‘Nah, don’t say that. That’s your father,’” 50 Cent said. “When he was gonna train Oscar [De La Hoya] to fight him, but you wouldn’t pay him. So if you ain’t gonna pay him, how he gonna eat? Champ got a lot of different things with him. Don’t get it twisted at all. He’s still the best fighter…He won’t kick my ass. I’m 220 right now.”

Earlier this month, 50 Cent poked fun of Mayweather’s ability to read when he challenged the boxer to “read a full page out of a Harry Potter book out loud without starting and stopping or fucking up” via Instagram.

In response to 50’s challenge, Mayweather posted pictures of two separate checks totaling over $70 million on Twitter along with this comment: “Read this $72,276,000.00. God bless.”
