The New York Police Department’s verified Twitter account has posted a message on the social media platform regarding Joe Budden.

The post says Budden is wanted for robbery, taking a cellphone of a 25-year old woman on August 18.

This follows news regarding an alleged incident between Joe Budden and a woman recently. The woman, who is unnamed in a TMZ report, says Budden abused her physically after seeing photographs of her with other men.

UPDATE #3: Joe Budden turned himself into police today (August 27), according to NBC New York.

Its story says that the rapper turned himself in at the 34th Precinct in Upper Manhattan, where he was arrested and charged with robbery in the third degree and grand larceny in the fourth degree.
