Although Mistah F.A.B. and DJ Mustard had a feud that involved a fight, there disagreements appear to be in the past.

“It’s not that serious,” Mustard says in an interview with Tim Westwood. “We were out there getting money. I got paid to be where I was at. I wasn’t expecting that. The Bay loves me. I love The Bay. What really happened was a miscommunication between me and him. When he came up to me, I looked back to see where my security’s at like, ‘How you let him get up here?’ He swung and we did what we had to do.”

Mustard says he was not slapped or punched in the altercation. Regardless, the producer explains that the two parties have talked and the feud is now over.

In June, Mustard spoke with HipHopDX about the altercation and feud.

“The internet can make it whatever they want to make into,” Mustard said at the time. “L.A. to The Bay—it’s not like that. I have some real friends in the Bay Area. I got some family in the Bay Area. It was never that. He felt how he felt, I guess. He swung. I guess he didn’t know that all those people were with me. I only run with one security guard. So, it wasn’t the security. Everybody keeps saying it was the security, but you know, that’s how it goes sometimes. I done got into millions of fights. That was just one of the fights that people have seen because of who I am. When people’s careers go down, they’ll do anything to get back up. You’ve gotta expect stuff like that and you’ve gotta tighten up your security and make sure nobody can get to you like that.”
