Returning to the hip-hop scene with their sixth album, legendary rap group Do or Die is ready to take their place among the top of the charts. With their new self titled album, Belo, N.A.R.D and A.K. feel that the timing is perfect to make a comeback alongside fellow successful Chicago artists Kanye West, Twista, R. Kelly and NO I.D. We felt that its a Do or Die situation right now, Belo said. So weve got to really do it or die. And we aint here to die. Were making music for the streets. People can look up each and every one of our files and its going to read street on it.

Kanye West, DJ Quik, Scott Storch, N.O. JOE and The Legendary Traxster handled most of the production for the new album creating such hits as Latest Greatest and Pimp Like This. Its feel-good music, A.K. says of the song produced by Kanye West. Sometimes you gotta give people what theyre not expecting and thats what we want to do. Were both from Chicago, so we both know the vibe and the style, Belo adds. Weve been around for a long time and Kanye respects us and we respect what hes accomplished. By him being hot right now and what were bringing to the table, its just going to be another nuclear explosive song. I know its going to blow. The self-titled album Do or Die hits stores nationwide February 1st.
