New Orleans, Louisiana rapper Jay Electronica stepped out of social media seclusion this week to offer his thoughts on both Lyor Cohen and Peter Rosenberg.

Rosenberg has drawn criticism from many in the Hip Hop community over comments he made about Chuck D while Cohen has come under attack by the likes of Dame Dash due to what the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder feels is a lack of accountability in Hip Hop.

In Electronica’s tweets, which were sent yesterday (July 3), he demanded that Rosenberg publicly apologize to Public Enemy’s Chuck D for referring to the Hip Hop icon as an online troll.

In regards to Lyor Cohen, Electronica informed the music executive that he and Dame “have some questions for him.” He then offered a message to the entire music industry and expressed his concern over there being too much clowning and buffoonery in Hip Hop.

Jay Electronica’s return to social media comes days after Dame Dash blasted Lyor Cohen during an interview with Vlad TV. He stated that Cohen was the person who ruined Roc-A-Fella Records and called out other music execs including Todd Moscowitz and Joie Manda.

“It was like they have people that their job is to create beef,” Dame said in an interview published last month. “So, that they can monetize it. Pause. But they don’t let their culture feel it. But they make money from it. And they can’t make any money or get any respect in their culture. That’s why they’re in our culture. Because the minute that they were allowed to be there, they would go. But they just can’t…Never had a beef with Jay. Always with Lyor and his whole crew. He’s the one that ruined Roc-A-Fella. Lyor Cohen.”
